Responsibilities
-Own the entire system testing process including, but not limited to, analysis, design, executing test plans and cases, and conducting defect tracking. -Cultivate deep understanding of business needs and technical roadmap and set clear quality standards in collaboration with Engineering Managers and business leaders. -Define and develop test strategy, test plans, and test coverage while collaborating with cross-functional teams in the early stage of product development lifecycle. -Recommend process and testing methodology and improve technology and quality assurance (QA) tools. -Provide technical guidance to team members, introducing new techniques and methods to enhance technical capabilities and improve productivity. -Contribute creative solutions to solve engineering problems, while influencing the engineering culture of product teams and advocating engineering excellence. -Mentor junior- and mid-level team members.
Qualifications
Qualifications Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience, out of which 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience in each of the following: -Performing and executing quality assurance testing for mobile security products or large-scale client server applications; -Designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts integrated with CI/CD systems, and building scalable and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing; -Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create systematic and comprehensive test plans and test cases, including estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing efforts across team members; -Identifying, recording, resolving, and documenting software bugs, including tracking bugs and test metrics; and -Building automated test scripts using Java or Python for front-end testing and backend API testing. The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $219000 - $353600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
