Description:The Scientist is responsible for performing advanced analytical development activities with a primary focus on hands-on operation of High-Resolution LC-MS instrumentation. This role develops and optimizes chromatographic (HPLC) and mass spectrometry-based methods to support the identification, characterization, and impurity profiling of siRNA molecules, formulations, and raw materials.
Compensation: $91,500.00 - 95,000.00 per year
Responsibilities:- Hands-on bench work using the High-Resolution LC-MS.
- Development of chromatographic methods (HPLC) and mass spectrometric based assays for identification, characterization, and impurity determination of siRNA
- Develop strategies for impurity profiling of new development candidates and raw materials.
- Author method development and qualification reports and SOP's for test methods.
- Evaluate suitability of new methods, and assist method qualification and validation.
- Contribute data to lead candidate testing, stability sample monitoring, OOS/deviation investigation and regulatory filing.
- Understand and apply advanced scientific principles, theories, concepts, practices and standards to process and analytical development.
- Follow training to independently operate instruments and carry out routine and non-routine analyses
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to support project goals and meet research timelines
Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a laboratory setting (GMP environment preferred)
- Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Able to handle multiple projects concurrently, self-motivated, and results driven
- Experience with Agilent Q-ToF and the MassHunter software is the plus.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and other software preferred
