About This Role: - Manage Land Development Site Plan projects.
- Proactively resolve engineering, ordinance, proffer, and other Code issues.
- Respond to information requests.
- Provide input to the update of County Codes and guidance documents.
- Conduct site visits.
- Resolve engineering and field issues with Engineers and Site Inspectors.
- Research projects.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. and 6 years of related experience. Related experience is defined as work involving land development approval and/or construction processes, including but not limited to, plan and regulatory review, coordination with developers and/or their representatives, and project management.
Preferences: - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, urban planning, or a related field.
- 3 years of professional experience related to land development tasks, such as the review of site and subdivision plans.
- 1-2 years of project management experience.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in Land Development regulations and concepts.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings/plans.
- Knowledge and application of the zoning ordinance, subdivision ordinance, and Design and Construction Standards Manual (DCSM).
- Experience interpreting proffers and special use conditions, as related to the Land Development process.
- Experience with independently performing project management for site development projects.
- Experience utilizing various computer software programs.
Work Schedule: - This position works a standard Monday-Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week.
- This position can telework 1-2 days per week after an initial probationary period.
- This is a telework-eligible position that may revert to in-office scheduling if business needs change.
