Land Development Project Engineer to join our
Land Development Team in
Parsippany, NJ and apply advanced engineering expertise to the planning, design, permitting, and execution of impactful land development projects. This is an opportunity to take ownership of key project components, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help mentor emerging engineers while contributing to projects that create lasting value for clients and communities alike.
What You'll Do:- Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for land development projects including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
- Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize design or delivery issues
- Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
- Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff
What You Bring:- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
- Minimum of 4 years of civil site design experience required
- Experience with municipal engineering clients preferred
- Site design experience related to manufacturing facilities preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:$100,000 - $120,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
