Overview of the role:
Saputo Inc. is seeking an IT Specialist, Enterprise Applications - Supply Chain Process & Solutions, for an existing opportunity within our organization.
In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, the IT Supply team, and multiple functional areas to deliver integrated business solutions across the Supply Chain landscape. Acting as a trusted partner, you will translate business requirements into functional specifications, evaluate solution options, and collaborate with senior technical teams to support the successful delivery and sustainment of enterprise applications.
You will leverage your expertise in SAP Supply Chain applications and processes to design solutions that align with business needs while adhering to SAP leading practices.
A key responsibility will be safeguarding the integrity of Saputo's ERP ecosystem, including both SAP and non-SAP systems, by ensuring solution designs support efficient and effective business processes.
As a recognized subject matter expert within the Supply Chain domain, you will contribute to both project-based initiatives and ongoing operational support. You will lead or support the implementation of new solutions and business processes, develop high-level effort estimates, and help ensure the continuity and performance of existing applications.
Success in this role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with business and IT stakeholders to design scalable, compliant, and sustainable solutions that align with Saputo's technology strategies, standards, and frameworks. In addition, project management experience and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives will be essential.
How you will make contributions that matter:
Translate business needs to functional requirements while ensuring SAP leading practices are applied within the procurement domain.
Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
Lead medium to large sized projects inclusive of development of Work Breakdown Structure, project budgets and resource management
Interprets internal or external business requirements/issues and recommends innovative solutions
Assess, review and document detailed solution options with an eye toward cross functional application and/or business process impacts
Presenting work for review in structured walkthrough presentations of application systems to/with IT team members and business users during various stages of the system lifecycle process
Providing functional/technical leadership - mentoring and coaching other team members across multiple functional domains
Collaborating with IT specialists/solution architects/software vendors on business solutions, architecture strategy, roadmaps, standards and governance
Third level support - Assist in investigating, analyzing, and resolving production system issues/problems during standard working hours and off-hours
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
10+ years of IT project delivery experience, including 5+ years as a subject matter expert in one or more SAP Supply Chain domains (e.g., Ariba, ECC Procurement, Transportation, EWM, and related solutions) supporting large-scale SAP ERP implementations
5+ years of SAP ERP implementation experience within the Food & Beverage and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries, with strong functional expertise and business acumen across multiple SAP disciplines
Detailed knowledge of SAP Supply Chain business processes and system modules, with the ability to apply best practices to support business and technology objectives
Experience with SAP integration technologies and the design of integrated enterprise solutions
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) is considered an asset, but is not mandatory
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment, coordinating initiatives across multiple workstreams, cross-functional teams, business units, geographies, and time zones while managing competing priorities and dependencies
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present updates and recommendations to Director- and Vice President-level audiences, as well as engage effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Ability to collaborate within a global organization, working across cultures, functions, and levels while fostering productive partnerships
Strong leadership and people management capabilities, including delegation, coaching, motivation, conflict resolution, and team development
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are required. For candidates based in Montreal, bilingualism in English and French is required due to regular interactions with French- and English-speaking stakeholders

Salary: $102,075 to $133,975
*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
