Responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity at the Department of State! The Inventory Systems Administrator is responsible for all inventory management system supporting within the hybrid VPC and global IT infrastructure for the customer.
Responsbilities:
- You will ensure we provide all necessary inventory systems and administration of the warehouse and contents.
- You will administer a Government-approved COTS inventory management software capable of real-time inventory levels, shipping status, automatic packing/inventory lists, and achieving efficiencies.
- The system shall also provide the appropriate information required by the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS).
- You will also administer a secure, web-based dashboard from which the customers can access our inventory system, with the software capable of searching/sorting, at a minimum, by order number, item, type, and internal reference number.
- As the administrator, you will be responsible for upgrading and customizing the inventory system hosted on the DoS Intranet website as directed by the customer.
- Your system will produce all warehouse standard reports, as well as ad hoc reports, in the format and media requested by the customer and use data extracted from the contractor’s inventory system on a bi-weekly basis.
- You will also ensure the annual physical inventory information is uploaded to the inventory management system and report on and resolve any system discrepancies.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The following are the education and experience required for this position:
- 5+ years
- Bachelor's in IT or related field
- Secret Security Clearance
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- COMP TIA Sec + Certification
