About the Role
The Internal Communications Senior Manager is an integral part of Latham’s Brand and Communications team. This role will be responsible for acting as a strategic advisor, manager, and mentor, while designing and leading brand initiatives, including providing expert, strategic counsel regarding current internal communication channels and recommending new ones. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with creative and video teams to create compelling visual and multimedia elements into communications
- Developing and executing internal communications programs to enhance the reputation and awareness of firm programs across all internal channels
- Providing creative thinking and strategy consulting, including comprehensive editorial calendars, internal product/service launches, awareness campaigns, issues promotion, and special projects
- Developing and supervising their team by performing a multitude of responsibilities, including but not limited to strategy development, hiring, mentoring, assignment, training, and evaluation
- Reviewing and analyzing data to measure effectiveness, impact, and engagement of communications programs and special projects
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

And have:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with significant coursework in English or Creative Writing, Communications, or Marketing, preferably
- A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience developing internal campaigns for varied employee groups or clients
- A minimum of ten (10) years of cumulative experience
- Background knowledge and experience in the law, preferably
- Experience managing and developing direct reports, preferably

Pay RangeUSD $195,000.00 - USD $225,000.00 /Yr.
