Job Title: Instrumentation Engineering Technician
Working Pattern: Fulltime
Working location: Indianapolis, IN
Relocation assistance will be provided if applicable
Position Summary:
As an Instrumentation Engineering Technician you will be accountable for fabrication and application of sensors to test hardware, routing of leads, termination of sensors, and setup and operation of measurement and recording systems.
What you will be doing:
Basic Qualifications:
Associates degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electronics or Aviation with 4+ years’ experience working in technical roles
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electronics or Aviation with 2+ years’ experience working in technical roles
Masters degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electronics or Aviation
PhD Masters degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electronics or Aviation
In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience working in technical roles
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance and must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Gas Turbine Power Systems
Instrumentation sensor application experience, ideally with high temperature and/or rotating sensors.
FAA Powerplant or Airframe & Powerplant licenses
Machining, soldering, welding, brazing, avionics, or electronics experience
Good communication skills, both written and verbal; good interpersonal skills
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office
Ability to read and understand blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
Understanding of basic mathematics, measurement systems and scales
Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
