Full Job Description
Ballard Spahr LLP seeks to hire an Associate in the Baltimore, Minneapolis, Philadelphia or Washington D.C. office with 2-5 years of legal experience to join our Housing Finance group. This position requires experience in commercial real estate finance and strong academic credentials. Experience with multifamily lenders, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and/or FHA multifamily programs is a plus. Strong title insurance and survey review experience is preferred. This is a great opportunity to become part of our long standing national finance practice which has closed transactions in all 50 states with exposure to originating and servicing loans. Ballard gives significant responsibility to Associates, with substantial client contact and a fundamental emphasis on teamwork. The firm also encourages involvement of Associates in marketing and business development, allowing for personal interaction with clients and their industries at conferences and in other settings. An active bar license in Maryland, Minnesota, Pennslyvania or D.C. is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $205,000 to $275,000, which reflects the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.

In addition to the salary for this position, lawyers may be eligible for an incentive bonus program and/or a profit-sharing bonus program.
