Hospice Clinical Manager (RN)Puget Sound Home Health and Hospice is seeking an experienced and caring full-time Hospice Clinical Manager (RN) for our Hospice division in the Pierce County area!
Position: Full-Time Hospice Clinical Manager (RN)
Location: Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington
Salary: $85,000-$115,000 DOE
Schedule: Full-Time
A few of the Essential Duties of this role:
- Ensures agency compliance with all state/federal hospice laws & regulations
- Reviews all incoming referrals for appropriateness & manages approvals & assignments
- Reviews patient charts for medical diagnoses, procedures, medications, & clinical course
- Assists the DCS with planning, implementing & evaluating in-services & CEU programs
- Assists with interviewing, hiring, training, & mentoring organization personnel
- Participates in QAPI, OASIS review, and coding workflow
- Provide symptom management and comfort care for hospice patients in their home
- Must be willing to take call when needed
What do we require of our Registered Nurse (RN) Hospice Clinical Manager?
- A minimum of 1 year of health care management experience, preferably hospice
- Must have at least 1 year of hospice agency experience, including admissions
- Must be experienced in HOPE charting requirements for hospice
- A BSN degree is preferred, but not required
- Current BLS certification
- Current Washington state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience with Home Care Home Base preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of hospice regulations, including Medicare COPs, PDGM, VBP
- Licensed and insured driver with reliable transportation
