Full Job Description
Are you looking to be a leader within an industry-leading team? Do you want to deliver innovative and effective solutions to clients while developing and leading colleagues? If yes, then our Local Client Delivery Leader role is the one for you.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Washington, DC office. The selected candidate must be able to commute into the DC office, minimum 3 days week on a regular basis.

What the day will look like

Focus of this dual role: Lead a team of client delivery colleagues and serve as a lead consultant or account executive on a portfolio of clients.

  • Lead a team of health & benefits consultants
    • Develop and own the business plan for the Health business
    • Lead and support the team in serving clients and growing the business
    • Manage overall performance, retention and profitability of client relationships in your market
    • Partner with sales professionals to develop and sell new client relationships
    • Serve as the face to the market, including clients, prospects, vendors and professional organizations in and around DMV
    • Lead the team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration in service of clients
    • Serve as strategic resource for all of the clients in your market
  • Lead benefits strategy, design and pricing for a portfolio of clients, including all areas of health & welfare programs
    • Provide client leadership focused on business objectives
    • Lead client relationships to measurable results
    • Oversee vendor negotiations and provide technical coaching to other team members

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 10+ years Health and Benefits background
  • Consulting experience (10+ years)
  • Client facing experience at a consulting company, insurance company, brokerage or in the Health and Benefits discipline.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $150,000 to $196,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Washington, DC. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
