ABOUT THE JOB

We're looking for a Head of Corporate Finance to build and lead the financial planning engine behind one of the fastest-scaling defense companies in history. This person will own Corporate FP&A and the operating rhythms that connect Anduril's financial model to its strategic priorities. You'll sit at the intersection of the corporate finance team, the division finance teams, and the C-suite - translating details from across the company into a clear narrative and ensuring leadership has the right financial data and analysis to make good decisions.

This is an operating and decision-making role, not just a slide-making one. You'll own the company's financial operating plan and forecasting, the analysis behind the decisions that shape it, and the executive-level reporting that goes to the leadership team, the Board, and investors. You'll influence decisions around how the company deploys capital, including which programs and R&D initiatives to pursue and how much production capacity to build. You'll inherit a fast-growing function with a lean, capable team and a mandate to evolve Anduril's Corporate Finance function into a best-in-class organization without slowing the business down.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own Anduril's financial model, including the annual operating plan and the forecast rhythm across every business unit and functional organization.
  • Partner closely with Anduril's CFO and senior finance leadership on major strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Hire, lead, and develop a team of FP&A and business-partner finance professionals across corporate and the business units.
  • Turn the plan into headcount, capital, and cash targets that leaders can manage against, and hold the organization accountable to them.
  • Collaborate with Production Finance on capacity decisions, including facility build-outs, tooling, automation, long-lead inventory and capital requirements.
  • Build Board and investor materials, including quarterly reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and the narrative behind variance to plan.
  • Run a monthly C-suite business review that management uses to make decisions and drive meaningful changes in the business.
  • Partner with Accounting on the close, Treasury on liquidity, and Division Finance on business operating rhythms.
  • Raise the standard of financial rigor across the company, including preparing the organization for the reporting and forecasting discipline of a public company.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A leadership at a company scaling through significant revenue and headcount growth.
  • Ownership of a full planning cycle, including long-range planning, annual operating planning, and rolling forecasts for a business of meaningful complexity.
  • Strong command of hardware/product economics, including unit cost, gross margin, inventory and working capital, and the cash implications of building physical products.
  • Experience preparing materials for and presenting to senior management, including the C-suite, Board of Directors, and institutional investors.
  • Track record of hiring and developing finance teams and replacing manual processes with durable, scalable systems.
  • Proven ability to operate as a strategic business partner across engineering, manufacturing, and G&A organizations, earning trust and influencing decisions before they are made.
  • Fluency in the underlying financial detail, with the ability to build models when needed and defend key assumptions.
  • U.S. Person status and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Manufacturing or industrial finance experience, including capital project evaluation and factory ramp planning.
  • Exposure to IPO readiness, public-company reporting, or debt and equity financing processes.
  • Investment banking, private equity, or corporate development experience combined with operating experience.
