The RoleWe're hiring a Growth Lead to own where Raylu invests in growth, and to turn that investment into measurable pipeline. You'll work alongside the founders, Head of Growth, Sales, and Product.
This is a full-funnel, multi-channel seat. You'll own the channel mix end to end: SEO and AEO, paid social, outbound, referrals, events, content and product-led motions. Each half, you'll decide which channels get more dollars and effort, which get cut, and which new ones are worth a test. Then you'll defend those calls with data.
It's high-impact and high-autonomy: you'll have a direct line to leadership, real budget, and the space to build the playbook rather than follow one.
What You'll Do- Own the full funnel. Connect spend to meetings, pipeline and revenue, and work with sales to lift lead quality and conversion
- Grow SEO and AEO. Make Raylu the answer when investors search, or ask an AI assistant, about deal sourcing and origination
- Run paid social. Reach partners and deal teams at PE, growth and VC funds on LinkedIn and beyond, measured on cost per qualified meeting
- Test new channels. Find what we aren't running yet, including product-led signals, and run clean tests to scale or kill fast
- Set the channel strategy. Each half, rank channels by ROI, move budget to what works, cut what doesn't, and defend the call with data
- Build referral and community loops. Turn customers, investors and friends of Raylu into a steady source of warm, high-intent introductions
- Shape the narrative. Ship launch campaigns, case studies and thought leadership that make Raylu the default name in AI origination
- Build with AI. Create the AI workflows behind research, personalization and operations; this is how the whole team works
What We're Looking For- 4+ years in growth, demand generation or performance marketing at a fast-growing B2B company, ideally early stage.
- A track record of owning outcomes (pipeline, meetings, revenue), not just activity or channel-level reporting.
- Hands-on experience with SEO and paid social, and a working view of how AI answer engines are changing search.
- Proven ability to rank and reallocate spend across channels by ROI, and to kill or scale based on evidence.
- Comfort identifying, testing and standing up entirely new channels, not only running the established ones.
- Strong grasp of funnel metrics and attribution, balanced with practical judgment about what the data can and can't tell you.
- A strong cross-functional operator who works well with product on signals, with sales on lead quality and handoff, and with founders on strategy.
- Efficiency-obsessed: you pressure-test where every dollar and hour goes before committing it.
- Clear, sharp writing; you can turn a complex product into a message an investor cares about.
- Hands-on with AI tools and no-code workflows, and excited to push them further.
- Genuine interest in private markets, AI and how capital gets allocated.
- High agency: you find the problem, propose the fix and ship it without waiting to be told.
Your first 90 Days:Days 1-30: Audit every channel, tool and data source. Map the funnel from first touch to closed deal and find where we're blind.
Days 31-60: Present a ranked channel plan with budget, targets and kill criteria. Launch the first SEO/AEO and paid social tests, plus at least one new-channel experiment.
Days 61-90: Report results to leadership, reallocate toward what's working, and propose the first hire or agency the plan needs.
Big bonus points:
Marketing strategy experience is a major plus. If you've owned positioning, messaging, segmentation or a go-to-market plan, not just executed campaigns inside one, tell us about it. We want someone who can set the strategy and then run the initiatives that deliver it.
