Global Positioning System - System Security EngineerEl Segundo, CA (Hybrid/Remote)
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Integration Engineer, Test Manager, or Lead Tester
- 8+ years of experience developing test strategies, including test vectors, test plans, and procedures
- 5+ years of experience with cryptography and information assurance processes
- Knowledge of White Box and Black Box testing, planning, processes, and execution, ensuring compliance with program protection and IA requirements
- Knowledge of security protocol requirements and compliance criteria
- Ability to engage with vendors, integrators, and government stakeholders to ensure alignment with system security requirements, technical standards, and certification processes
- Ability to provide technical assessment, audits, and security impact assessments to drive Program Office decision-making
- Active DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications- 8+ years of experience with GPS systems, navigation technologies, PNT resilience efforts, or GPS modernization programs
- Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs, including requirements development, technical baseline management, and milestone documentation
- Experience with COMSEC procedures, Type 1 or FIPS-compliant cryptographic systems, and key distribution and handling requirements
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies
- TS/SCI clearance
How You Will Be RewardedThe salary range for this role is $165,000 - $195,000 annually. Note: This position has an on-site requirement at Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, CA. All candidates must be willing and able to report on-site
3-5 days per week, based on mission and customer requirements.
