Role DescriptionForm Energy is hiring a highly skilled supply chain professional to develop and execute the sourcing strategy for battery system-level components to be used in Form's pioneering iron-air battery systems. As part of our GSM team, you will be involved in researching markets, identifying and engaging with suppliers, developing and executing sourcing strategies, and managing key supplier relationships in collaboration with key cross-functional teams. his is a hybrid role, which will require working onsite from our office in Berkeley, CA 4 days per week.

What you'll do:- Own the PCBA & EE categories, and build and maintain partnerships with our strategic suppliers to support our next-gen energy storage system scale-up; the category includes complex Printed Circuit Board Assemblies and EE components (i.e. Semiconductor/ICs, interconnect, passives, embedded systems)
- Act as the primary contact with suppliers on contract and pricing negotiations, development and production lead times, escalations and resolution
- Drive commercial cost negotiations with suppliers based on cost-models and analyses of current market conditions to ensure Form receives best-in-class pricing
- Monitor current category market conditions, evaluating supplier capacities and competitive landscapes, technology roadmaps and supply/demand challenges & opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Form's Leadership, Supply Chain, Engineering and Strategic Supply teams to define and drive execution of Form's Systems sourcing strategy
What you'll bring:- At least 5 years of strategic sourcing, category management, or similar applicable experience in a fast-paced, highly fluid environment
- Deep expertise managing procurement for customized electronic assemblies including PCBAs and EE components through distribution channels as well as directly from manufacturers
- Proven track record managing Contract Manufacturers (CMs), including overseeing tier 2 materials management, production scaling, tracking supplier KPIs, and negotiating Master Services Agreements (MSAs).
- Fact-based, detail-oriented, data-driven decision making along with strong analytical skills; ability to thrive in the face of ambiguity and make decisions based on partial information
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; an optimistic, high-energy "people person" with a strong desire to build collaborative relationships and make things happen
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally approx. 30% of the time
- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or similar discipline
