We are currently seeking a
FinOps - Project ManagerWe are looking for a
FinOps Project Manager to establish and drive an AWS FinOps operating model, providing governance, coordination, and execution oversight for cloud financial management and optimization initiatives. The role will collaborate closely with Application, Data, Infrastructure, CloudOps, Finance, and other stakeholders to drive identified AWS optimization opportunities through completion.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and operationalize the AWS FinOps organization, governance model, processes, roles, and operating cadence.
- Manage AWS FinOps initiatives, priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.
- Coordinate across Application, Data, Infrastructure, CloudOps, and Finance teams to drive AWS FinOps activities.
- Drive identified AWS cost optimization opportunities from identification through execution and closure.
- Track optimization opportunities, accountable owners, target dates, expected benefits, and realized savings.
- Facilitate regular FinOps governance, cost optimization, and stakeholder review meetings.
- Coordinate AWS budgeting, forecasting, spend tracking, and variance reviews.
- Develop and maintain FinOps dashboards, KPIs, project plans, and executive reporting.
- Drive accountability and follow-up across cross-functional teams.
- Support continuous improvement and automation of FinOps governance and reporting processes.
Required Qualifications- 8+ years of Strong project/program management experience, preferably supporting AWS cloud or FinOps programs.
- 5+ years experience in AWS cloud financial management and cost optimization concepts.
- 5 + years experience establishing governance and operating processes.
Preferred Qualifications - Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive identified opportunities from action to closure and benefit realization.
- Strong communication, tracking, and executive reporting skills.
- FinOps and/or AWS certification preferred.
NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $136,275.00 to $227,125.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
