Full Job Description
The Implementation Project Manager will oversee all aspects of end-to-end custom project cycles, from the creation of an accurate and efficient project timeline to the completion. The Implementation Project Manager supports senior-level management, project team members, and vendors to ensure expectations, deliverables, and milestones are met. The Implementation Project Manager is skilled at instigating and managing crucial conversations for any implementation at risk.

EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years' experience in the healthcare or pharmacy industry.
  • Prior experience as a full-cycle project manager.
  • Experience in system/platform transitions, migrations, and implementations.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, IT, Management, Business, or equivalent job experience.
  • PMP certification preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops custom project plans to ensure the successful completion of unique needs and deliverables within specified timelines.


  • Leads project meetings; identifies, documents, and prioritizes scope changes and facilitates approval process; maintains and updates all project documents.
  • Provides strategic and customized support in planning, coordinating, executing, and tracking activities related to vendor implementations.
  • Collaborates with various departments within the company and directly engage with clients and/or vendors during the implementation process.
  • Collaborates and negotiates with both internal and external stakeholders as needed to keep the implementation healthy and on-track.
  • Presents and negotiates resource conflicts with top management to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Serves as a resource to other project managers and department leaders, offering support in solving complex problems and leading larger projects.
  • Coordinates and tracks technology project resources, assets, and schedules to ensure timely project outcomes.
  • Maintains project plans, oversee deliverables, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Gathers necessary information for successful implementation completion.
  • Coordinates with assigned staff for equipment installation and handle any escalations.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
  • Competent in use of company email and Microsoft Teams as means of communication, accessing the company website to view company policies.
  • Competent in the use of company self-service payroll software (time and attendance, benefits, pay statements).
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Visio, and the ability to navigate Internet Explorer. Proficient in typing, word processing (Microsoft Outlook/Express, Word, Excel), and familiar with office equipment.
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools such as ClickUp, WorkZone, Gantt charts, Trello or other project management software and tools.
