Role Description

Your Role:

The Director Finance, Gross to Net leads the strategic direction, operational management, forecasting, and compliance of all Gross-to-Net (GTN) activities across the US business. This role oversees a cross-functional finance team responsible for GTN forecasting, governance, regular GTN operations, bookings and reconciliations, government pricing and contract management, vendor oversight, and technology integration. The Director partners closely with Finance colleagues, Market Access, Commercial Analytics, Legal, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to deliver accurate GTN impact on pricing and revenue analysis, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide actionable insights that drive enterprise wide strategic and operational decision-making.

This is a hybrid role, based out of LEO's Madison, NJ office.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary finance team responsible for all Gross to Net financial responsibilities, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate closely with Market Access, Commercial Analytics, non-GTN Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and IT to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

  • Lead and direct the end-to-end GTN forecasting function for the North America business, ensuring alignment and integration with demand and ex-factory forecasting to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial projections used for strategic planning and operational execution.

  • Oversee the booking of GTN actuals and government pricing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Integrate booking activities with forecasting outputs to improve accuracy, streamline processes, and enhance overall departmental efficiency and precision.

  • Develop, enhance, and deliver meaningful reporting packages for GTN tailored to multiple stakeholders for strategic and operational decisions.

  • Enable informed decision-making and effective performance monitoring through clear, actionable insights.

  • Lead efforts to better integrate GTN and government pricing technologies, analytics tools, and services,

  • Drive automation, streamline data flows, and minimize manual intervention to improve accuracy and efficiency.

  • Manage external consultancies and vendors providing GTN and government pricing services

  • Ensure high-quality deliverables, adherence to internal standards, and maximum return on investment from outsourced partnerships.


Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

  • MBA or other advanced finance/accounting designation strongly preferred.

  • Minimum 4 years' experience managing people within a finance function at a pharmaceutical company, ideally with direct GTN responsibilities.

  • 8-12+ years progressive finance or accounting experience, including substantial GTN, government pricing, and contract management exposure.

  • Strong technical skills: advanced Excel, ERP systems (SAP preferred), GTN pricing/forecasting tools.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team while managing complex projects and cross-functional relationships.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex GTN analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated success in process improvements, automation, and forecasting accuracy in a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.


The base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $240,000 per year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the LEO Pharma range for this position. Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
