Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing primary care to patients
- Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
- Ordering diagnostic tests
- Communicating test results to patients and their families
- Recording patient medical histories
- Gather medical information
- Work with Physicians and Nurses to prescribe and administer treatments
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment
- Instruct patients and their families about best practices at home
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Refer patients to specialists as needed
- Writing prescriptions
- Providing wound care
- Comply with federal and state privacy laws, always respecting a patient's confidentiality

Education and Experience:
- NP, PA, MD license in California required
- Must have graduate from an accredited FNP/PA/MD program
- Previous experience in family medicine or primary care is preferred
- New graduates with excellent clinical instructor references
- DEA license
- BLS/CPR certification required
