Senior / Lead Automotive Technician (Master Mechanic)
Location: Lynn, Ma
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $35.00 to $45.00 hourly
Schedule: [Monday-Friday / Weekends Optional.]
Position Overview
This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and efficient technician with advanced diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle makes and models. The ideal candidate takes pride in workmanship, works well under pressure, and can consistently deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on domestic and foreign vehicles
- Troubleshoot electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and drivability issues
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards
- Use scan tools, diagnostic software, and shop equipment effectively
- Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and customers when needed
- Mentor and support junior technicians
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
- ASE Certifications preferred (Master Certification strongly preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with engine and transmission repair/replacement
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own tools required
- Strong work ethic and reliability are a must
