A Note on Location

We're excited to connect with qualified candidates and sincerely appreciate everyone's interest in joining Blue J. This is a hybrid role, with the ability to come into our Toronto office a few times a month for collaboration as needed, while still having the flexibility to work primarily remotely. The role also requires up to 20% travel to the United States for client meetings and conferences. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a high-performing Enterprise Account Executive (AE) to drive strategic growth across a defined territory of enterprise accounts. This role is responsible for acquiring new logos, expanding existing customer relationships, and closing complex six-figure SaaS licensing agreements.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Driving New Business: Engaging, and closing new enterprise customers to expand our market footprint in the accounting vertical
  • Account Growth: Developing account expansion strategies to drive expansion opportunities, increasing contract value within existing accounts
  • Territory Ownership: Managing a named account list (~20 accounts), maintaining deep understanding of organizational structures, key decision-makers, and business challenges
  • Deal Strategy: Constructing and executing complex deal cycles, leading everything from initial discovery through negotiation and contract signature
  • Pipeline Management: Maintaining disciplined forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and CRM accuracy
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with marketing, product, and customer success to develop compelling proposals and support a seamless post-sale experience
  • Market Intelligence: Staying current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs to position our solutions effectively
