About the RoleDoorDash is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Merchant Financials engineering team. This team is responsible for the building of Mx financial products (such as loan/capital, instant pay) used by millions of merchants on DoorDash platform.
As an Engineering Manager, you will partner closely with product, design, and operations partners to define the roadmap to grow our sweet of financial products, including the launch of a brand new banking app. You will manage a team of talented backend, web, and mobile engineers to build groundbreaking financial solutions and solve challenging technical problems.

- 2+ years of experience in people management leading full-stack teams (backend, web, & mobile) of 8+ engineers
- 8+ years of industry experience
- Extensive experience as an engineer in a fast-paced, product-focused development environment
- Experience with distributed system design, system scaling, and performance optimization
- Hands-on leadership and strong product intuition

CompensationActual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within British Columbia.
