Full Job Description
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Lead a fullstack team building the capabilities that enable enterprises to adopt, deploy, and scale Retool.
Partner with Product and Design to define the team's strategy and roadmap, connecting technical investments to customer needs and business impact.
Guide technical design and architecture across access controls, auditability, admin experiences, and integrations.
Help the platform evolve to support AI agents and autonomous workflows, ensuring infrastructure and controls keep pace with increasingly powerful workloads.
Drive execution from scoping through launch and iteration, making tradeoffs, resolving dependencies, and maintaining high standards for security, reliability, and quality.
Work directly with customers and go-to-market partners to understand enterprise requirements and translate them into reusable platform capabilities.
Support engineers through continuous feedback, coaching, growth opportunities, and clear performance expectations.
Build processes that improve delivery and cross-team collaboration, and partner with Recruiting to grow a diverse team of exceptional engineers.
