Job DescriptionIn this job, you will:
- Perform mission engineering to analyze operational needs and utilize advanced modeling and simulation tools to ensure capabilities are optimized to meet mission outcomes.
- Architect solutions utilizing a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach with the latest Systems Modeling Language (SysML) tools.
- Integrate, install, and test C5ISR systems in laboratory and operational environments.
- Acquire and mature your knowledge of a broad range of C5ISR technologies and apply your expertise to solve emerging challenges.
- Lead projects of increasing complexity and leverage the diversity of a global defense company to advance your career goals.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Candidates will be required to work on site, including some duties in classified buildings.
There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
Required Skills and EducationBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 2-4 years of experience with Command and Control, Communications, Computers, Cybersecurity, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissnace (C5ISR) systems
Ability to work well in a team environment or independently
Preferred Skills and EducationExperience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML), Ansys STK and ModelCenter, MATLAB, DOORS, CAD or other engineering, mathematical, and modeling toolsets
Experience with command and control, communications, computers, cybersecurity, intelligence, surveillance, or reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems
Experience with US Navy systems/equipment
Experience developing systems/equipment to military standards
