Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and motivated Electrical or Robotics Engineer to join our rapidly growing Imaging Hardware Development team. You will work closely with a dynamic team of electrical, software, and mechanical engineers to conceptualize and commercialize innovative medical devices to meaningfully impact the lives of patients with musculoskeletal disorders. The ideal candidate is passionate about practical electronics design/deployment and is comfortable working in the Med-Device regulatory environment. This role requires a balance of creative thinking, analytical design, hands-on prototyping/testing, and systematic product development.
Essential Functions:- Design, prototype, and test electromechanical systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and performance metrics
- Consider market feedback from surgeons and other customers to determine functional and design specifications for new product development and continuous improvements
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects to ensure timely completion of tasks while remaining in full compliance with Globus' quality system and other applicable regulatory bodies
- Develop and review product requirements, specifications, and test documents
- Support design verification and validation activities to ensure designs meet specifications, as needed
- Define and implement inspection procedures for incoming parts, as needed
- Work independently as well as in small teams using agile methodologies
- Collaborate with a team of electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to integrate system hardware and firmware into market-ready medical device products

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or comparable (ex: Robotics)
- Experience with Altium Design Tools
- Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as a key contributor in small teams
- Excellent oral, written, and graphical communication skills
- Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and E-mail
- Ability to travel 5% of the time
Preferred Qualifications- 2+ years of applicable industry experience
