Electrical Engineer 2+ years experiencePerforming engineering tasks on industrial power distribution and generation projects.
Design Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) distribution systems for Combined Heat & Power (CHP) plants, campus and/or district energy systems, and municipal scale power generation facilities. Provide engineering support for utility interconnections and generator protection schemes. Typical tasks will include Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Studies, Coordination Studies, development of One Line Diagrams, Protection Schemes and Motor Control circuits for MV and LV circuits.
Responsibilities Include: - Develop Design Documents (One Lines, Cable/Wire Schedules, Interconnect Diagrams, equipment specifications, etc.) for new facilities
- Write Specifications for purchase of electrical equipment
- Review electrical equipment submittals and ensure proper coordination with overall design. Ensure equipment meets design intent of the project.
- Perform calculations and analysis of electrical systems
- Travel to client sites during construction
- Provide on-site commissioning support
- 10-20% travel is required
