In this role, you will partner with sales teams and customers to help organizations improve how they authenticate users, manage access, and govern identity across enterprise environments. You will work with both technical and business stakeholders to understand identity challenges, demonstrate Palo Alto Networks solutions, and support the design of practical identity architectures.

This role is ideal for curious technologists who enjoy learning by building and experimenting with systems, and who are excited to apply that curiosity in real customer environments.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with Account Executives and Sales Specialists to support customer engagements throughout the sales process
  • Deliver product demonstrations and technical walkthroughs for prospective customers
  • Assist in technical workshops, evaluations, and proof-of-concept engagements

  • Work with customers to explore integration options with directories, SaaS applications, and enterprise infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot technical questions that arise during evaluations or demonstrations
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences
  • Collaborate with teammates to share knowledge, improve demos, and strengthen the broader DC organization

Curiosity and Hands-On Mindset

We are looking for engineers who enjoy learning by building, experimenting, and digging into systems.
  • You enjoy exploring how systems work by testing integrations, APIs, and authentication flows
  • You like experimenting with new tools and technologies to understand how they behave in real environments
  • You are comfortable troubleshooting configurations and figuring out why something works the way it does
  • You enjoy sharing what you learn with teammates and customers

The best candidates are naturally curious technologists who enjoy tinkering with systems and learning through hands-on experimentation.

Identity Experience
  • Experience working with Identity & Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance (IGA), or related security technologies
  • Familiarity with identity concepts such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, federation, directory services, and identity lifecycle management

  • Understanding of enterprise environments that include directories, SaaS applications, and cloud infrastructure
  • Ability to troubleshoot integrations involving APIs, authentication flows, or directory services
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and tools such as Postman or similar
  • Comfortable working with command-line tools and basic scripting when troubleshooting integrations or testing APIs
  • Exposure to major cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Communication and Collaboration

  • Comfortable presenting and leading discussions with engineers and IT stakeholders
