Director, Sales - Mid-Market East & Central Commercial Sales

Job Purpose:

TD SYNNEX Canada is seeking a strategic and results-driven sales leader to lead our Mid-Market East & Central Commercial Sales organization, overseeing a business approaching $750M in annual revenue.

As Director, Sales, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth, strengthening customer and partner relationships, developing high-performing sales teams, and executing TD SYNNEX Canada's commercial sales strategy across the region. This role provides an opportunity to lead a significant business, influence key customer and partner relationships, and develop the next generation of sales leaders.

Key Areas of Accountability

Business Leadership
  • Lead the Mid-Market East & Central Commercial Sales organization and deliver revenue, margin, and profitability objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that accelerate growth and increase market share.
  • Utilize market insights and business analytics to identify opportunities and drive performance.

Customer & Partner Engagement
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, partners, and vendors.
  • Drive customer retention, business expansion, and partner-led growth initiatives.
  • Represent TD SYNNEX within the Canadian technology and channel ecosystem.

People Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Managers and Client Executives.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer success.
  • Build leadership capability through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.

Strategic Execution
  • Translate company priorities into actionable sales plans and business strategies.
  • Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, account planning, and sales productivity.
  • Partner across Finance, Marketing, Vendor Management, Services, and Operations to deliver business results.

Operational Excellence
  • Lead business reviews, forecasting processes, and performance management activities.
  • Ensure disciplined execution of sales processes, governance, and business planning practices.


Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • 15+ years of progressive commercial sales, channel, or related business leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and potential to lead and develop sales teams, including leaders. Direct sales team leadership experience is preferred; high-potential internal candidates who meet the other role requirements may also be considered.
  • Experience managing a commercial sales organization with accountability for significant revenue and profitability.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a $250M+ P&L.
  • Strong experience working with technology vendors, channel partners, and customers.
  • Proven ability to influence, coach, mentor, and develop talent, with a commitment to building high-performing teams and future leaders.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence customers, partners, and senior leadership.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans that drive measurable business growth.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15-20%.
  • Must be based in or willing to work from the Montreal, QC, Canada office.

Preferred
  • Experience within technology distribution, channel sales, or the IT solutions industry.
  • Experience leading teams within the Canadian market.


Salary Range Requirement

Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

  • This salary range for this position is $136,000 - $182,000 CAD

Responsabilités et exigences:
  • Plus de 15 ans d'expérience progressive en ventes commerciales, en canaux de distribution ou en direction d'entreprise connexe.
  • Capacité démontrée à diriger et développer des équipes de vente, y compris des leaders. Une expérience directe de gestion d'équipes de vente est privilégiée; des candidats internes à fort potentiel répondant aux autres exigences peuvent aussi être considérés.
