Director, Product Management, AI – Payments
About the Team
The Payments Platform is key to powering Capital One’s current and future financial products. As a Director of Product Management, you will own the AI strategy and AI product portfolio for the Payments organization. You’ll discover where AI creates value — in the workflows of how we design, build, roll out, and operate new products, as well as in the experiences that customers touch — you’ll decide where it doesn’t belong, and you’ll lead the responsible delivery of that value to production, in close collaboration with other product teams and with engineering teams. As part of the role, you will:
Define the AI product strategy and investment roadmap — including where AI fits and build/buy/partner decisions
Deliver measurable impact from applying AI — both operational improvements and customer-outcome gains
Ensure responsible AI practices
Stand up and manage shared AI capabilities that facilitate adoption across teams
Raise AI fluency across the organization and maintain it as the field evolves
This is a hands-on, player-coach role: expect to be in the work yourself while leading a lean team.
