Full Job Description
The Director of Product, Inventory & Fulfillment Management owns product outcomes for two product lines: Inventory Intelligence and Fulfillment Management.

This technology product leader owns the roadmap that drives revenue, customer growth and retention for the Supplylogix business. This includes accountability for product strategy, commercial performance, and delivery of the inventory intelligence SaaS platform that is serving over 10,000 pharmacy locations.

Reporting to the VP of Product, this leader manages a team of Product Managers, Product Designers, including embedded Data Scientists that build capabilities within the platform.

This role works closely with technical product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Commercial teams, and other cross-functional partners to deliver on our integrated platform and broader McKesson

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

Own the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Inventory Intelligence and Fulfillment Management products.
  • Set strategic product direction, by integrating market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and adjacent innovations.
  • Make prioritization and tradeoff decisions across the product lines; approve roadmap commitments and balance growth investment against platform and regulatory requirements.

Maintain the connection from vision and strategy through the roadmap and PI quarterly planning, that ensure major roadmap decisions trace back to strategic intent and preserve Supplylogix's market position.

Commercial & Customer Relationships

Support Supplylogix's revenue outcomes and support key customer relationships.
  • Maintain relationships with pharmacy supply chain leadership and buyers.
  • Support product-level pricing and packaging decisions, based on customer findings.
  • Ensure commercial and roadmap decisions reflect multi-platform model, and represent the Supply Chain & Fulfillment product portfolio to leadership.

Partner with Sales and Customer Success on win/loss patterns, renewal risk, and expansion motions for customers

Product Management Leadership

Set a high standard for product management craft and outcomes across the discovery, definition, and delivery of work.
  • Guide customer discovery and validation; ensure Product Managers run structured, evidence-based discovery rather than feature-request intake, and that solutions are validated with users before production build.
  • Drive best practices in the usage of AI tools and workflows that accelerate product velocity and insights, without trading on quality and skills of the team.
  • Own success metric definition and product outcomes; review product performance against targets and drive course correction.
  • Uphold delivery quality and predictability with engineering counterparts; arbitrate scope, remove obstacles, and ensure planning commitments are met.

Maintain clear role boundaries and support collaboration across PM roles.

Embedded Data Science Management

Lead the embedded data science team that delivers the optimization models.
  • Define the product objectives, KPIs and capabilities that the models solve; credibly evaluate model performance across supply chain use cases.
  • Partner with the Data & AI leaders on deployment, API interfaces, specifications, and schema changes for model development.
  • Partner with engineering team to ensure model governance meets policies.

Coordinate with the Data & AI product leader on embedded DS team priorities and other external strategic data and AI products.

Platform & Cross-Product Area Integration

Operate the product lines effectively within the integrated platform organization.

Partner with TPMs and Engineering Leads on data, AI and integration capabilities; ensure Supplylogix product requirements are accounted for in platform decisions.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

Build, lead, manage, develop and retain the combined product team.
  • Hire and manage Senior Product Managers and Product Managers; set clear ownership boundaries, performance expectations, and career development paths.
  • Coach on product management craft, including prioritization, ROI sizing, roadmap development, execution management, and stakeholder communication.

Adjudicate cross-team capacity (product, DS and engineering), priority conflicts, and delivery/support issues.

Operating Model & Planning Discipline

Lead within the overall product and engineering organizations shared operating model.
  • Drive PI / quarterly planning, portfolio reviews, and ROI gates for product area in partnership with Product Ops; bring high-quality planning inputs and maintain commitments.
  • Own product functionality lifecycle reviews (enhance / maintain / sunset).

Contribute win/loss, competitive, and voice-of-customer signals into portfolio-level programs; act on portfolio insights affecting the product area.

Critical Skills / Experiences
  • Proven product leadership of algorithm-driven or data-intensive B2B SaaS products where analytics and model quality is the core product value; Has built, managed, or directed data science teams deploying production-grade capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain, inventory optimization, fulfillment, or logistics domains; pharmacy inventory and supply chain experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience operating in a platform organization: negotiating shared infrastructure dependencies, data contracts, and cross-team roadmap alignment without direct authority over platform teams.
  • Experience is supporting integrations with other vendor platforms and serving customers on competing ecosystems.
  • Experience driving commercial outcomes for an enterprise B2B product line, and influencing pricing, marketing, buyer relationships, and revenue accountability.
  • Strong executive communication and ability to represent a product portfolio to executive level; Ability to communicate product, technology, and financial topics.
  • Track record building, leading, and developing product management teams
  • Familiarity with building AI tools and workflows to accelerate product development velocity.


Minimum Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, supply chain, operations, analytics, data science, business, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, including 5+ years leading and managing product managers or blended product / data science teams.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS in analytics, operations, supply chain, or related).
  • Experience in pharmacy technology, healthcare supply chain, or other regulated industries; familiarity with DEA controlled substance or DSCSA compliance areas is a plus.
  • Experience with predictive analytics, demand forecasting, or optimization-model-driven products.
  • Experience managing products sold across competing platform ecosystems and multiple channels.


Working Conditions

Traditional office or hybrid environment, depending on location. Some travel required for cross-site collaboration and customer/partner engagements.
