Director of Beverage: Rosewood Calistoga
Reporting to the Director of Restaurant Operations and Director of Food & Beverage, the Director of Beverage partners closely with culinary leadership, restaurant management, event operations, sales and marketing teams, and resort leadership to deliver an exceptional beverage experience throughout the property. This role leads a dynamic team of beverage professionals while helping shape the resort's reputation as a premier luxury destination in Napa Valley.
YOUR ROLEAs Director of Beverage, you will serve as the strategic leader responsible for creating and delivering an exceptional luxury beverage program that reflects the unique character of Calistoga, Napa Valley, and Rosewood's commitment to Relationship Hospitality. Overseeing all beverage operations throughout the resort, you will drive innovation, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and team development across restaurants, bars, lounges, banquets, in-room dining, and special events.
This highly visible leadership role plays an important part in elevating the guest experience, strengthening community partnerships, developing future hospitality leaders, and ensuring Rosewood Calistoga remains a benchmark for luxury food and beverage experiences.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE- Provide strategic leadership for all beverage operations across the resort while ensuring alignment with Rosewood brand standards and luxury hospitality expectations.
- Curate and oversee innovative wine, cocktail, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage programs that celebrate Napa Valley and elevate the guest experience.
- Develop strong partnerships with local wineries, distributors, and beverage producers to create unique and memorable experiences for guests.
- Lead beverage menu development, pricing strategies, seasonal offerings, and program innovation across all outlets and events.
- Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, cost controls, and revenue optimization.
- Foster a culture of excellence through recruiting, developing, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing beverage teams.
- Maintain exceptional service standards while creating beverage-driven experiences that build guest loyalty and enhance the resort's reputation.
- Ensure full compliance with all beverage regulations, responsible alcohol service programs, and Rosewood operational standards.
COULD THIS BE YOU?- You are an accomplished beverage leader with extensive experience in luxury hotels, resorts, fine dining restaurants, or high-end hospitality environments.
- You possess a deep understanding of wine, spirits, cocktails, beverage trends, and luxury beverage operations.
- You have successfully developed innovative beverage programs that drive guest engagement, revenue growth, and brand distinction.
- You are a strong people leader who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing talented hospitality professionals.
- You possess strong financial acumen and are confident managing budgets, forecasts, inventory controls, and beverage profitability.
- You have exceptional communication and relationship-building skills and thrive in a highly collaborative environment.
- You are passionate about Napa Valley's wine culture and understand the importance of creating authentic destination-driven guest experiences.
- You hold, or are pursuing, advanced beverage or wine certifications such as CMS, WSET, or equivalent professional credentials.

PAY TRANSPARENCYThe salary range for this position is $115,000-$130,000 annually. This is the pay range that the company expects to pay for this position. This position may also be eligible for bonuses. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on several factors, such as experience, type of experience, location, and education.
