SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to provide strategic direction and leadership for staffing systems and strategy within Department of Nursing. Serves as a resource to manage daily operations of clinical staffing with the expectation of long-term financial savings through enhanced utilization, scheduling, and deployment of staff. Provides coordination of staff services across the organization with the intent of creating improved responsiveness to patient needs. Provide overall strategic project management, facilitation, and on-going maintenance of a centralized staff scheduling/deployment system utilizing a software platform to manage staff. The scope of the position includes invasive cardiology.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Seven (7) years related experience
  • Five (5) years management experience
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Master's Degree preferred
