What you’ll be doing

The Director, Content Design, will lead a team of Senior Instructional Designers within Content Creation, championing innovation and the integration of advanced AI design tools. You will be responsible for overseeing, consulting, and managing content design for learning solutions across the enterprise, ensuring that all learning assets leverage the latest technologies and creative methodologies. You will maintain active content in the TalDev library, continually enhancing it with cutting-edge design approaches.

You will ensure our learning solutions consistently meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and innovation, delivering scalable, high-impact learning assets that align with our rigorous design standards. By embracing AI-driven design tools and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you will elevate the quality and effectiveness of our learning solutions.

You will partner and collaborate with colleagues in Content Creation to manage team member and project capacity, utilizing advanced planning tools (CRM/Cognata) and AI-powered workflows to optimize efficiencies. Additionally, you will work closely with Advisory and Program Management colleagues to build and maintain effective working relationships with business partners and subject matter experts (SMEs), driving collaborative innovation and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.  You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.  Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
