Position Description:

We are seeking a growth oriented business leader who thrives in enterprise sales, account expansion, and building high performing consulting teams. This role is not just about managing delivery. It is about creating, winning, and scaling business.

As the Director of Consulting Services, you will be the acting business owner of your account portfolio, owning end to end growth: from identifying opportunities, shaping and closing deals, to building a delivery organization that scales profitably. Your success will be measured by your ability to win new business, expand existing relationships, and grow a sustainable consulting practice within the Ontario Public Sector (Ministries).

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales Leadership
• Own and drive net new revenue growth and account expansion
• Identify, originate, and close strategic deals in the Public Sector
• Lead end to end sales cycles:
o Opportunity identification
o Solution shaping
o Proposal development
o Executive presentations and deal closure
• Build and execute account growth strategies aligned to client priorities
• Leverage internal and external partnerships and alliances to create differentiated offerings
• Meet and manage Financials to run your account portfolio

2. Account Growth & Client Leadership
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives
• Proactively identify white space opportunities and expansion plays
• Position CGI as a strategic transformation partner, not just a delivery vendor
• Lead Business Reviews (BRs) with a focus on growth pipeline and value realization
• Continuously align solutions with client strategic objectives and industry trends

3. Build & Scale Your Own Practice
• Build, lead, and grow a high performing consulting team aligned to your revenue base
• Hire, mentor, and develop talent to support business expansion
• Create a scalable operating model that grows with your account portfolio
• Foster a performance driven, entrepreneurial culture
• Align team structure with pipeline, bookings, and delivery needs

4. Post Sales Execution & Value Delivery
• Ensure successful transition from sales to delivery
• Maintain ownership of client outcomes, satisfaction, and long term value realization
• Oversee delivery leaders to ensure:
o On time / on budget execution
o Strong margins
o High client satisfaction
• Identify and resolve risks to revenue or client relationships early

5. Financial & Business Ownership
• Own full P&L accountability for your portfolio
• Manage revenue, margin, and cost structures
• Ensure contracts support long term profitability and growth
• Drive continuous improvement in account performance and profitability

Client Focused:
• Establish credibility and trust across key decision makers and influencers at client organizations.
• Be recognized as the client and industry expert through a clear understanding of industry best practices, and how CGI solutions support and accelerate the achievement of clients' business goals.
• Assess and respond to gaps between current projects, customer needs, and industry trends/competitive offerings.
• Propose and implement program modifications or enhancements based on performance analysis and client input.
• Prepare and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews. Conduct internal and client governance meetings with key stakeholders
• Act as the Executive Level escalation point of contact to ensure appropriate handling and communication of client issues.
• Identify and monitor "at risk" projects and programs that could jeopardize current or future opportunities.
• Service delivery & performance management (SLAs, projects)

Internally Focused:
• Identify new revenue opportunities and partner with Business Development and Delivery Leaders to develop strategy to drive the opportunities.
• Develop and drive client business plans that include all aspects of account management including revenue, revenue growth, client satisfaction, key players, challenges, risks, and opportunities.
• Actively participate with Industry Account Teams in internal discussions regarding new revenue opportunities and contract renewal process to ensure expectations are clearly understood and defined appropriately in terms of CGI's ability to meet client expectations.
• Lead the Account Team to institute positive changes resulting in improved sales opportunities and account penetration.
• Identify and obtain cross department resources to successfully implement new client initiatives, program enhancements and service offerings.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $135,000-$185,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
