What you'll be doing

Join the Alternate Solutions Group (ASG) within Payments as a Director, ASG - Foreign Exchange (FX) Trading, where you'll help deliver innovative, technology-enabled capital markets solutions for clients around the world. ASG combines the pace and innovation of a financial technology organization with the scale, strength, and governance of a leading financial institution. As a Director, ASG - Foreign Exchange (FX) Trading, you'll lead trading activities that support ASG's global payments and foreign exchange solutions, with a focus on pricing, risk management, market insight, and revenue growth. You'll work closely with product, sales, treasury, technology, and risk partners to optimize trading performance and enhance the client value proposition across cross-border payments and related FX offerings. In this fast-moving environment, you'll use your market expertise and leadership skills to drive execution, strengthen controls, and support strategic business objectives across ASG's product suite.

How you'll succeed

  • Trading Leadership & Execution - Lead FX trading activities across ASG-supported payment solutions, managing pricing, execution, and risk within approved limits and in line with business objectives. Oversee daily trading performance and make informed market decisions that support revenue growth and client outcomes.
  • Strategy & Business Performance - Develop and execute trading strategies that align with ASG's mandate, goals, and growth priorities. Monitor market conditions, business results, and emerging trends to identify opportunities, improve performance, and support sound business planning.
  • Risk Management & Controls - Maintain a strong control environment by ensuring trading activity adheres to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks. Partner with control, compliance, and treasury teams to support accurate reporting, effective governance, and timely escalation of issues
  • Partnership & Client Value - Build strong relationships with internal partners across sales, product, technology, and operations to bring FX capabilities to market and improve the end-to-end client experience. Translate market insights into practical solutions that help strengthen product offerings and meet evolving client needs.


Who you are

  • You have a degree. In Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, and/or a related field.
  • You have relevant trading experience. You bring significant experience in Foreign Exchange (FX) trading, sales and trading, or capital markets, with a strong understanding of market structure, pricing, risk management, and client-driven execution. It's an asset if you've supported payments, cross-border solutions, or institutional FX products.
  • You give meaning to data. You use market information, business results, and trading performance data to inform decisions and identify opportunities. You're proficient in interpreting complex information and communicating it in a way that drives action.
