This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for a Director, Agent Platform PM to own the platform where developers build, test and run voice agents on a global communications network. Voice, messaging, agent runtime and the human handoff, on one platform. This is a hands-on role: you build alongside the team.
Why it matters: AI agents are becoming how businesses talk to their customers, and developers are choosing their platform now.
Job Responsibilities:- Set the strategy and roadmap for the agent builder, runtime, tools, testing and evaluation
- Own developer growth: activation, adoption and retention of developers on the platform
- Deliver natural, low-latency conversations: turn-taking, interruptions, speech quality
- Let developers deploy agents in their own cloud, in a hybrid setup, or fully hosted
- Define packaging and usage-based pricing
- Stay hands-on: write specs, prototype, build agents on the product, and dig into the data, using AI coding tools
- Run the team AI-native: specs, prototypes, tests and analysis built with AI. Partner with engineering, design and adjacent product teams
- Report progress to executive leadership
To succeed in this role you must have experience in:- 10+ years in product, 5+ on developer platforms, real-time media or voice AI
- Grew a developer product: sign-up, activation, adoption, retention, community
- Hands-on: you write the spec, build the prototype and use the product daily. AI-native software development: you build with AI coding agents every day and have changed how your team works
- Shipped a voice agent product or a real-time platform, at scale, with revenue
- Deep fluency in speech-to-speech, turn-taking, WebRTC and SFUs
- Priced and metered a usage-based platform
- Decide what we build and what we partner for, even when the data is incomplete
Success looks like: developer growth (activation, adoption, retention); developers building and running agents on the platform; growing live agent usage; conversation latency and quality; revenue growth.

If you are hired in Belmont, CA the compensation range for this position is between $240,800 and $293,700 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
