About the Role

Uber for Business is seeking a strategic, commercially-minded, and driven Sales Leader to lead our sales teams across Canada. Our team plays a critical role in expanding Uber's footprint in the B2B space, partnering with the largest Enterprise, Mid-Market, and rapidly-growing companies across the region. We drive adoption of Uber for Business products such as ride services and meal solutions, operating as a key partner for businesses looking to streamline operations and enhance employee satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has experience in leadership roles in technology sales, has been a first or second line sales leader, and is an empathetic, data-driven, self-starter with experience in both mature and start-up environments. We are seeking innovative sales leaders who are passionate about building high-performing sales organizations.
What You'll Do
Sales Leadership:
  • Mentor and lead the sales team with a focus on performance and improvement.
  • Set expectations, provide coaching, and drive development programs.
Sales Lifecycle Management:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Track and report sales activities using CRM tools.
Negotiation & Deal-Making:
  • Lead complex negotiations and secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Stay informed on competitive offerings and industry trends.
Market & Platform Expertise:
  • Keep up with industry trends and market developments.
  • Demonstrate platform value and collaborate with marketing/product teams to align strategies.
Customer Focus:
  • Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering solutions that drive business value.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales execution.
  • Communicate sales performance to senior leadership.
What You'll Need
  • Minimum of 4 years working in a sales leadership role and 10 total years of sales experience
  • Proven track record of growing a customer base and consistently exceeding revenue targets and company goals in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
  • Strong use of insights and data-driven decision-making to inform the sales process
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a high-performing sales team.

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity. Responsibilities

For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD $126,000 per year - CAD $140,000 per year.

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
