Position Description: CGI is currently seeking a self motivated, intellectually curious finance professional with a strong work ethic to join our in house Corporate Finance team - supporting CGI's Executive Corporate Functions.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting & analysis for a designated group of internal clients.
In this role, you will have exposure to multiple business units and work closely with other corporate and operational team to support decision making by assembling, interpreting, analyzing, and reconciling financial data.
Your future duties and responsibilities: -Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly forecast for Corporate EVP group.
-Deliver accurate, insightful, and timely analysis of financial results against plans, forecast and budget.
-Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
-Provide financial insights and solutions to operations on analytical findings.
-Present analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing to quickly understand the results and recommendations.
-Analyse Balance sheet entries ensuring balance sheet integrity.
-Participate in the development and implementation of performance management tools.
-Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and drive efficiency.
-Complete Ad hoc reports/analysis as necessary.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: -Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA or CPA in progress considered an asset.
-2 to 4 years of experience in a similar business partner financial analyst role.
-Proactive attitude with regards to gathering and verifying financial information.
-Action oriented, proactive with high level of accountability for delivering quality work.
-Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information.
-Excellent computer skills with MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
-Previous experience working with industry software such as PeopleSoft, Hyperion (Oracle) would be considered valuable assets
-Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position. The successful candidate will regularly collaborate with colleagues and business stakeholders across Canada in both official languages.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000-$115,000.
