Full Job Description
ASR International is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Insurance and Benefits Administrator to oversee and administer the company's insurance programs and risk management activities. This position is responsible for managing all corporate insurance policies, including workers' compensation, employee health and welfare benefits, general liability, professional liability (E&O), automobile, umbrella/ excess liability, property, and other business insurance programs.
The Corporate Insurance and Benefits Administrator serves as the primary liaison between the company, insurance brokers, carriers, benefits providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure adequate coverage, regulatory compliance, cost control, and timely resolution of claims.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Insurance Program Management
  • Administer all corporate insurance programs and policies.
  • Coordinate annual insurance renewals and policy negotiations with brokers and carriers.
  • Review policy terms, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage limits to ensure appropriate protection.
  • Analyze insurance needs and recommend coverage modifications based on business operations and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and risk reduction.
  • Employee Benefits Administration
  • Manage company health, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment activities.
  • Work with Human Resources and benefits providers to communicate plan changes and employee options.
  • Ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Workers' Compensation Management
  • Administer workers' compensation programs and claims.
  • Coordinate injury reporting, claim documentation, and return-to-work programs.
  • Work closely with HR, supervisors, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators to resolve claims.
  • Monitor claim trends and recommend loss prevention initiatives.
  • Support workplace safety efforts to minimize incidents and reduce claims costs.
  • Claims Administration
  • Manage liability, property, vehicle, cyber, and professional liability claims.
  • Coordinate investigations and documentation related to claims and incidents.
  • Serve as liaison between insurance carriers, legal counsel, employees, and management.
  • Monitor claim status and ensure timely resolution.
  • Contract and Compliance Support
  • Review customer and subcontract agreements for insurance requirements.
  • Verify compliance with contractual insurance obligations.
  • Obtain and maintain certificates of insurance (COIs).
  • Support proposal teams by providing insurance documentation required for contract bids and renewals.
  • Coordinate subcontractor insurance compliance tracking.
  • Risk Management
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain corporate risk registers and insurance schedules.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of company exposures and coverage adequacy.
  • Financial and Reporting Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage insurance and benefits budgets.
  • Review premium invoices and carrier billings for accuracy.
  • Track insurance costs, claims activity, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Assist with audits related to insurance, benefits, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Risk Management, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing corporate insurance programs, employee benefits, risk management, or related functions.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Workers' Compensation

    • Commercial Auto Insurance
    • Property Insurance
    • Employee Health and Welfare Plans
  • Knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and state insurance regulations.
  • Experience working with insurance brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting government contractors or professional services firms.
  • Experience managing multi-state insurance programs and employee benefit plans.
