Full Job Description
As a member of the HUGO BOSS Human Resources team, the Benefits Manager will work alongside the Senior Director, Total Rewards to manage all initiatives within the HR functions of US/Canada Benefits and Wellness Administration, Leave of Absence Administration, Workers Compensation Management and HRIS support as required. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all benefits related inquiries while providing exceptional service to our employees.

What you can expect:

Benefits
• Manage the administration of all benefits including US and Canada medical, dental, vision, COBRA,
disability plans, life insurance, retirement plans, and other ancillary benefit plans
• Support US and Canada health/welfare benefit and retirement plan design, analyze program effectiveness
in partnership with brokers, and oversee annual open enrollment management for all relevant benefit plans
• Research and respond to employee questions regarding all aspects of employee benefits and act as a
liaison between employees and insurance carriers/brokers to ensure timely resolution of any issues
• Manage benefits enrollment processes and troubleshoot any discrepancies with our benefits enrollment
platform and vendor websites
• Research and strategize on wellness initiatives that support all business areas for US and Canada
• Educate existing employees on benefit plan options and conduct new hire benefit orientations in
partnership with the HR Generalist, Corporate
• Create benefits communications and materials across all channels, including annual benefit enrollment
guides, new benefit initiative announcements, and legislative updates
• Responsible for all group insurance invoice processing and the reconciliation of all invoices quarterly in
partnership with Sr. Director, Total Rewards and Accounting
• Provides recommendations for benefits programs by researching trends and developments in benefits
across the industry
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation,
enforcing adherence to requirements with guidance from brokers and ERISA Counsel and advising
management on needed actions
• Manage, maintain, and ensure compliance for employee benefit files with support from HRIS & Total
Rewards Associate
• Work in close partnership with various internal and external customers, such as external agencies and
benefit plan administrators, brokers, Legal, and Finance
Leave of Absence Administration
• Oversee the administration of all US leave of absence and ADA cases managed by our Third Party
Administrator, Guardian LeavePro, including processing of non-statutory/statutory short-term and long-term
disability claims
• Ensure appropriate procedures for leave of absence administration is adhered to across all channels,
documenting processes and training new managers
• Ensures highest level of customer service with employees and provides support throughout leave of
absence process
• Manage complex leave cases in partnership with HR Managers to address escalated employee leave
matters and recommend solutions
• Manage the integration of other leaves (i.e. Worker's Compensation, COVID Paid Sick Leaves)
• Serve as the subject matter expert and stay up to date with applicable leave laws and regulatory changes
and provide recommendations for policy and process modifications to ensure federal and state compliance
in all areas in which we operate
• Maintain leave of absence trackers to identify trends and maintain accurate records of employee leaves in
full legal compliance
Worker's Compensation
• Assist with US worker's compensation case management, liaising with brokers, Worker's Compensation
adjusters, and Nurse Case Managers on return to work options
• Manage annual Worker's Compensation Audits and assists with annual policy renewals
• Respond to and resolve inquiries pertaining to a claim and advise employees of their benefits
• Ensure compliance of Worker's Compensation posting notice requirements for all covered site locations
• Manage annual Health & Safety Sustainability Reports
• Assist with OSHA reporting requirements for Savannah Distribution Center
HRIS
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in HRIS against all benefit systems
• Partner with Payroll on benefit data interface feeds and resolve issues
• Run reports from HRIS system as required

Your profile:
• Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources Management or related discipline, or equivalent
experience is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience administering a full range of benefit programs and experience with leave
of absence management.
• Well versed in all applicable federal, multi-state, and local regulations, including statutory disability leaves,
statutory paid sick leaves, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefit programs,
including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, PFL, ADA, Section 125, Workers' Compensation, Medicare, IRS and
DOL requirements
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions in the best interest of the organization
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail
• Effectively manage projects while collaborating with other departments and team members
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

The expected base pay range for this position is $110,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the pay range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
