Role OverviewThe Construction Project Manager (CPM) supports leased data center projects by assisting the Lead Construction Manager (LCM) in managing schedules, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with project standards and requirements. This role is ideal for individuals seeking career progression into full construction leadership responsibilities, with a strong focus on project execution, site coordination, and operational readiness.
Responsibilities- Support the LCM in tracking project milestones, Ready-for-Service (RFS) dates, and early access requirements.
- Conduct weekly job site visits to assess project progress and compare actual progress against the project schedule.
- Maintain project documentation and update dashboards for progress reporting.
- Monitor task completion, project risks, and potential schedule delays.
Support sequencing and coordination of early access activities. - Coordinate with internal project teams, technical integration teams, security teams, and external lease providers under LCM guidance.
- Prepare meeting notes, action trackers, status updates, and follow-up communications.
- Ensure contractors and project partners adhere to required safety standards and reporting requirements.
- Assist with compliance audits, inspections, and documentation reviews.
- Monitor project budgets and validate invoices against approved scopes of work.
- Track lease partner deliverables and escalate discrepancies, risks, and delays.
- Utilize reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI to improve project reporting and visibility.
- Contribute to process improvements, workflow optimization, automation, and risk reduction initiatives.
- Support the project team in maintaining overall construction quality, schedule, cost, safety, and operational readiness.
Required Qualifications- 8-12 years of experience in construction project management, construction coordination, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within large-scale commercial or data center construction projects.
- Experience with Core & Shell construction, preferably within large-scale mission-critical facilities.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems and structured cabling fundamentals.
- Strong project coordination, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to learn and utilize Power BI, automation, and other project reporting tools.
- Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical education is preferred.

Salary and Other Compensation:The salary for this position is between $180,000 - $200,000 USD annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
