Full Job Description
As a Compensation Programs Senior Analyst, you will focus on running the cyclical compensation cycles, identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements, and re-engineering of our compensation programs and systems. You will be the go-to expert for data analysis and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership. Your role will involve driving operational and organizational optimizations. This role will report to the Director of Compensation Programs, Operations and Systems. This role is hybrid and located in San Mateo, California.
You Will:
37 Be responsible for development, design, planning and project management of compensation programs, policies and processes.
37 Lead the development and implementation of global compensation programs, particularly bi-annual compensation review cycles
37 Work closely with cross functional teams in identifying processes, programs or capabilities that could benefit from automation, process enhancements or re-engineering to optimize performance and future growth opportunities
37 Implement compensation systems to support cyclical compensation cycles
37 Create materials to communicate strategic priorities and findings to senior management
37 Develop and refine Excel models to conduct analysis related to compensation programs. Ability to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute our business decisions
37 Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics and monitor the integrity and validity of the data reported
37 Streamline compensation processes through operational and system enhancements via Workday, Zendesk, Jira and other internal systems
You Have:
37 6+ years of experience in the technology industry, compensation, consulting, finance or a similarly applicable field
37 A minimum of 5 years of progressive human resources and compensation experience with increasing levels of responsibility in identifying, consulting, designing, recommending, and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions
37 Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including experience building analyses and automated models
37 Knowledge of industry trends and developments in compensation
37 Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
37 Strong project management, organizational and communication skills
37 Working knowledge of Workday
37 Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau and other BI tools a plus
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.
Annual Salary Range
$209,130-$244,500 USD
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
