JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Communications Senior Associate within Consumer and Community Banking,  you will support senior leaders across the Digital and Design and Customer Experience teams, helping them communicate strategy, priorities, and organizational goals in ways that inspire employees and lead understanding. You will play a key role in shaping the narrative around the Consumer and Community Banking Digital Agentic Channel, helping employees understand how emerging technologies and AI are transforming customer and employee experiences. As a trusted communications partner, you will develop executive messaging, presentations, employee engagement strategies, town halls, leadership events and compelling storytelling that brings complex topics to life. You will collaborate closely with leaders, business partners, and fellow communicators to create communications that are clear, human-centered, measurable and aligned to business objectives.

Job responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders, including the Chief Design Officer and Head of Product for Agentic Channel, to develop communications that advance strategic priorities and strengthen employee engagement.
  • Draft and deliver executive-level communications, including presentations, talking points, organization announcements, videos, newsletters, site visit materials, leadership updates, and employee town halls.
  • Translate complex technology, AI, design, and customer experience concepts into clear, compelling, and relatable communications for broad employee audiences.
  • Identify and develop human-centered stories that showcase innovation, customer impact, employee contributions, and business outcomes.
  • Develop and execute strategic communications plans aligned to business objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Lead communications programs from strategy through content development, approvals, execution, and measurement.
  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, town halls, AMAs, leadership meetings, site visits, and other large-scale communications moments.
  • Create speaker briefings, event messaging, presentation content, and communication materials that lead participation and understanding.
  • Leverage approved AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, content development, editing, and audience-tailored communications.

     

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of internal, corporate and/or executive communications experience, including extensive; BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related degree hands-on writing, editing, project management and presentation building, in technology or financial services
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex business, technology, AI, and customer experience topics.
  • Demonstrated experience developing communications for senior leaders and supporting executive communications programs.
  • Experience creating and executing communications strategies that influence awareness, understanding, and employee engagement.
  • Strong presentation development skills, including constructing executive-ready PowerPoint presentations and leadership materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled productivity tools responsibly to support content development, research, synthesis, and communications planning.
  • Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

     

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in digital journalism, social media, digital content is desirable
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
