As a Client Relationship Manager, Partnerships & Affinity Markets - Special Markets, you will support the national growth, retention, profitability, and relationship management objectives of the Partnerships and Affinity lines of business within iA Special Markets.
Reporting to the Manager, Special Risk Underwriting and Client Service, you will provide proactive relationship, portfolio, and business development support to clients, brokers, third-party administrators, third-party payors, partners, and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will help deliver a high-quality client experience while contributing to strategic initiatives that support sustainable growth and long-term partnerships.

What you'll accomplish with us- Support the end-to-end experience for Partnerships and Affinity clients, brokers, partners, third-party administrators, and third-party payors across renewals, new business, implementations, marketing activities, and ongoing relationship management.
- Build and maintain proactive relationships with clients, partners, brokers, and key stakeholders through regular communication, issue resolution, follow-up activities, and coordinated service delivery.
- Act as a central point of coordination between external stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring requests, priorities, and service commitments are addressed efficiently and aligned with business objectives.
- Support client, partner, broker, and market-facing meetings by preparing presentations, reports, business updates, background materials, follow-ups, and action plans.
- Contribute to business development, growth, retention, and client acquisition initiatives while helping identify opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and expand portfolios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regional Offices, Marketing, Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, Claims, Compliance, Administration, and Client Service to support growth initiatives and client needs.
- Monitor portfolio performance indicators including growth, retention, profitability, persistency, client satisfaction, and service metrics, while supporting reporting and business reviews.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence, competitive information, client insights, and operational data to support strategic planning, renewals, business decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What could accelerate your success in this roleWe're looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years of experience in group benefits, special risk insurance, affinity markets, partnerships, client relationship management, financial services, or a related field.
- Has experience supporting client, broker, partner, or market-facing relationships, with exposure to sales, marketing, business development, or account management considered an asset.
- Holds a post-secondary education in business, marketing, finance, or a related discipline. LOMA, CEBS, or a related designation is considered an asset.
- Demonstrates strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse groups.
- Possesses strong business acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data, identify opportunities, and support growth, profitability, and client experience objectives.
- Is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, projects, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates integrity, accountability, professionalism, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client and partner experiences.
- Has advanced written and verbal proficiency in English. French is considered an asset.

The typical hiring range for this position is between 58 422$ and 108 422$ CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
