Full Job Description

The Cash Manager will manage day-to-day bank account administration, smart safe operations, and intercompany cash movements, ensuring accurate records, timely funding, and compliance with Treasury policies and controls. Review bank reconciliations, investigate cash discrepancies and unusual transactions, and partner with Accounting, Finance, and banking stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize cash positioning and liquidity. Maintain appropriate documentation and audit support while identifying opportunities to streamline cash operations, strengthen controls, and improve Treasury processes and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bank account administration, including account openings, closures, authorized signers, account maintenance, and banking documentation.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and banking partners to ensure bank account information and Treasury records remain accurate, current, and compliant with internal policies and controls.

  • Oversee smart safe operations, including monitoring cash activity, coordinating with business locations and banking partners, and ensuring appropriate cash handling and deposit processes.

  • Manage and execute intercompany cash movements, ensuring timely funding, settlement, and accurate recording of transfers between entities.

  • Monitor intercompany funding requirements and coordinate with Treasury and Finance stakeholders to optimize cash positioning and liquidity across entities.

  • Review monthly bank reconciliations to ensure cash activity is accurately recorded, reconciling items are appropriately investigated, and outstanding differences are resolved timely.

  • Identify and investigate cash discrepancies, unusual transactions, and reconciliation variances, partnering with Accounting and other business teams to resolve issues.

  • Maintain appropriate documentation, controls, and audit support for bank account administration, cash movements, and reconciliation activities.

  • Partner with Accounting, AP, Tax, FP&A, and other Finance teams to ensure accurate and efficient cash management processes.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline cash operations, strengthen controls, and improve Treasury processes and reporting.

Required Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; 5-7 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Treasury, Financial Operations, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Computer and Technical Skills

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office equivalent programs along with experience with multi-location or multi-fascia retail sales audit operations, including POS transaction processing and reconciliation. Hands-on experience with POS, Sales Audit, sub-ledger, and General Ledger systems, preferably Oracle XStore, ReSA, Aptos, Sales Hub, and Workday Accounting Center.
