PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a C++ Acoustic Signal Processing Programmer to support our government customer in Patuxent River, MD.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Programming in support of the Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Platforms computer systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a Secret Clearance, Top Secret SCI is preferred.
- Shall be knowledgeable in acoustic signal processing programming and mission planning processes and software.
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in support of Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Platforms computer system experience to include:
- Test and Evaluation
- Network Protocols
- LAN administration fundamentals
- UNIX and Windows based operating system
Required Certification:
Within 18 months of start date, must obtain the following certification:
- Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), or complete a vendor/platform specific certification such as:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
- Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD)
- Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
- Sun Certified Professional (SCP)
- Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP)
- CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of programming languages such as: C+, C++, C#, and OpenGL
- Discrete Representation of Signals
- z-Transform
- Transfer Function and Frequency Response Function
- Discrete Fourier Transform
- Transfer Function of Models and Wave Equations
- Statistical Models for Acoustic Transfer
- Deconvolution and Inverse Filters
- Linear Equations, Inverse Filters and Signal Analysis
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
