Responsibilities

About the team: Our Micro Series Business Development team drives strategic content partnerships and licensing deals that bring compelling short-form entertainment to global audiences. Working at the intersection of content, product, and market strategy, the team collaborates cross-functionally to identify growth opportunities, shape production and distribution partnerships, and support the expansion of our micro series business across diverse international markets. Responsibilities: - Source, pitch, and close partnerships with micro-series producers across studios, production companies, and talent-led studios; partner closely with Legal for negotiations - Monitor and analyse market trends, building pipelines of potential IPs and micro-series producers; producing and presenting reports to Product and cross-functional teams - Work closely with the Product and Product Operations team to operationalize micro-series strategy, acquisition pipeline, production, delivery, editorial & marketing, monetization, and performance

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s): - 5+ years of experience in content acquisition or business development within industry-leading streaming platforms; deep familiarity with AVOD/SVOD/TVOD models - Strong commercial and analytical capabilities: ability to build forecasts, benchmarks, ROI models and communicate tradeoffs to stakeholders - Deep fluency in content performance metrics and the ability to connect supply strategy to platform growth outcomes - Operational excellence: experience building scalable acquisition pipelines and managing execution cross-functionally - Product fluency: ability to translate deal negotiations and projects into platform metrics - Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and time zones. - Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and drive crisp execution under deadlines Preferred Qualification(s): - Track record of sourcing and closing micro-series deals

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115520 - $258400 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
