We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to become the go-to expert for our Hydraulic Quick Connect solutions. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our sales strategy, empowering our sales teams and forging strong relationships with customers. This is your chance to make a significant impact by identifying new opportunities and shaping the future of our product line in the Americas.

This is a remote position with a salary range of $90,000 - $120,000.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive Regional Growth: Spearhead sales initiatives for Danfoss's hydraulic quick connect products across the Americas, actively hunting for new applications, projects, and customers to expand our market presence.
  • Be the Technical Expert: Serve as the primary authority on our quick connect solutions. Your deep knowledge of design, performance, and applications will be crucial in guiding customers and internal teams.
  • Empower Sales Channels: Equip our Fluid Conveyance, OEM, and multi-divisional sales teams with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed. You'll deliver expert training, create compelling product demonstrations, and provide critical support during high-stakes customer meetings.
  • Forge Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure our product roadmap and market strategies align with customer needs. You will be the voice of the customer, translating their feedback into actionable insights.
  • Champion Customer Success: Support the development of winning customer proposals by highlighting the unique value of our solutions. You will build and nurture lasting relationships with key OEMs, distributors, and end-users through site visits, trade shows, and technical events.


What We're Looking For

We are looking for a motivated individual who combines technical acumen with a strategic sales mindset.

Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
  • 3-7+ years of experience in a technical sales, product support, or application engineering role.
  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems and quick connect technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Americas to connect with customers and teams.


Preferred Skills:
  • Proven experience working within OEM or multi-divisional sales environments.
  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape and market trends for hydraulic quick connects.
  • A track record of success in achieving technical sales or business development goals.
