Job Description

The Business Development Executive- Private Client Services (PCS) is a senior, market-facing executive responsible for originating new high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) client relationships on a national basis across the firm's Private Client Services offerings. This includes complex tax planning and compliance, trusts & estates, family office services, outsourced accounting, and advisory solutions tailored to high-net-worth individuals, families, and their closely held entities.

This role operates nationally, with accountability for driving PCS growth across the firm's most strategically important private wealth markets and advisor channels. The executive will develop deep, strategic relationships with influential wealth management firms, private banks, RIAs, family offices, trust companies, business managers, and law firms, converting those relationships into meaningful, firmwide revenue.

The position is intended for a proven senior rainmaker with an extensive private wealth network and the ability to credibly engage with HNW individuals, family offices, and their advisors nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the acquisition of new PCS clients nationally
  • Achieve a new business target of $1.2 million annually, sourced from qualified new client engagements.
  • Build and expand national relationships private banks and wealth management institutions Independent RIAs and multi-family offices
  • Serve as a senior ambassador for the firm's PCS practice within the national HNW and advisor ecosystem.
  • Identify PCS needs among principals and owners of existing corporate client relationships (e.g., law firms, financial services firms, family-owned businesses).
  • Develop structured cross-referral pathways from corporate engagements into PCS services in partnership with Industry and Service Line leaders.
  • Collaborate with PCS technical leaders, estate planning professionals, and family office specialists to scope, propose, and structure engagements.
  • Lead client meetings, pitch presentations, pricing discussions, and negotiation of engagement terms.
  • Provide market insight, competitive intelligence, and strategic recommendations to PCS and BD leadership.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM documentation.
  • Partner closely with the National Head of Business Development and Head of PCS to ensure national alignment and coordinated go-to-market execution.
  • Mentor PCS partners and professionals on market dynamics, COI strategy, and private wealth relationship development best practices.


Basic Qualifications:
  • 15 + years of senior-level business development or advisory experience
  • Deep, active national network across high-net-worth advisors, COIs, and professional services ecosystems.
  • Proven track record of originating significant PCS or private wealth advisory engagements, ideally supporting annual pipelines of $3-10M+.
  • Executive presence and credibility with HNW/UHNW families, principals, and advisors.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical subject matter experts and translate complex client needs into actionable solutions.
  • Strong pursuit leadership, communication, and commercial negotiation skills.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive client matters.
