BU Data Analyst II
The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

$78,419.00 - $117,628.00

What You'll Be Doing
Responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing complex data to provide actionable insights that inform business decisions. This role supports data-related projects within the business unit and understands intermediate functional data needs. Key activities include gathering data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, and visualization. Examines and identifies data patterns and trends to answer business questions and improve decision-making across various areas of the business.
- Prepares and analyzes datasets to produce reports and visualizations (e.g., dashboards, performance metrics, basic trend analysis).
- Identifies and communicates data-driven insights to support operational improvements and business objectives.
- Assists in defining data requirements and ensuring data accuracy through validation and cleaning processes.
- Works collaboratively with stakeholders to address data-related challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Creates and maintains SQL scripts and workflows for recurring data tasks and reporting.
- Contributes to the development of processes to improve data management and reporting efficiency.
- Supports data-related projects by performing detailed analysis and providing actionable recommendations.
- Continues to build technical expertise by learning advanced tools and techniques under guidance.

- Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience required
- 3-5 years of prior relevant experience required
- Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment
